Incorporation of a Charitable Trust

  
 

 
     
 
From the very inception, Sheth has been very conscientious of its social obligations and is committed to the betterment of the community at large. In order to channelize the contribution to the society, a registered Charitable Trust “Sheth Vasantben Natwarlal Charitable Trust” has been established for promoting and conducting education programmes, inculcating religion and offering medical relief to the needy. Every Sheth project incorporates a community temple, school, and a medical facility center.
  
 

 

  
  Educational Institutions  
   
     
 

The Trust has constructed Sheth Vidya Mandir English Medium High School for Vasant Nagri - Vasai. The school has extended its education imparting activity during 2003 by starting a Junior College. This ground plus two storeyed structure, with a total built up area of 35,000 sq.ft. accommodates 50 rooms including a lab facility, a library, music room and 40 classrooms. The school is equipped with a one and half acre playground. Fully equipped with modern equipment and the latest teaching aids, the present staff-strength including support staff is 50. As on March 2004 the school had 1200 students and offers education for all age groups from toddlers to higher standards. Admissions are open to one and all.

Among the more recent plans, Sheth proposes to build yet another school (60,000 sq.ft. plot under construction) at its township project Vasant Gardens - Mulund to provide education facilities to residents.

 
     
  Educational & Medical Relief  
   
     
 
The Trust provides aid in the form of subsidized education to needy students and gives grants to the poor and underprivileged to enable them to avail of proper medical facilities. On the medical relief front, the Trust has provided a fully equipped Ambulance Van offering emergency paramedical services.

For the spiritual development of residents, the Trust is presently maintaining Temples at Vasant Nagri - Vasai (Sheth project with 1,188 tenements) and at Vasant Leela - Thane (Sheth project with 973 tenements).
 
     
  Old Age Home  
   
     
 
At the inception stage of the project, the management accommodates essential facilities for the benefit of the society. Project Vasant Leela at Thane, includes Vatsalya Dham an Old Age Home for the destitute. Vatsalya Dham - a single storeyed structure of 5000 sq.ft spans across a plot area of 11,000 sq.ft This home for the aged commenced operations in January 2003, and currently accommodates 21 people, with spare capacity to home 30 more people.
  
     
  Eco Friendly Environment  
   
     
 
All the township projects are embellished with eco-friendly gardens, open green pastures and spacious sports grounds with recreation clubs. These amenities play an essential part in the success of the projects and enable residents to enjoy a healthier life and avail of a better standard of living.
